The Chairman's Cup

Better Ball of Partners, played in foursomes, low gross and low net event at 7/8 handicap. A team may be comprised of a man and a woman or two women members. All players must be Full Golfing Members, Provisional Charter Members or PreVue Members with established handicaps. Casual cocktails and dinner follow.
Swing For A Cure

All members and their guests are welcome to participate in this fun golf event that supports a great cause. A $30 donation is requested to participate in the event, all proceeds benefit Magee-Women's Research Institute. Everyone is asked to stay and enjoy the delicious lunch buffet following play.
July 4th "Red/ White/ Blue"

"The Red, the White, and the Blue." One ball is counted on holes 1, 4, 7, 10, 13, and 16, played form the blue tees; two balls are counted on holes 2, 5, 8, 11, 14, and 17, played form the white tees; three balls are counted on holes 3, 6, 12, and 15, played from the red tees; and four balls are counted on holes 9 and 18, played form the red tees. The handicap is 90%. Make your own foursome.
Men's Club Championship
Friday - Sunday, July 7, 8, 9
The 2017 Men's Club Championship is a three-day event that will be played in the same manner as 2016. All male golfing members are eligible to play and may choose to compete in wither the Blue Tee Open Division, determined by an 18 holes qualifying round Friday, July 7, or the White Tee Flight Championships, based on current handicaps.
Tee times will be announced on Thursday, July, in the afternoon. A $30 entry fee charged to the entrants accounts.
Entries close Thursday, July 6 at Noon
Around the 'Burgh in 18 Holes
Saturday, July 15
The format will be Step Aside Scramble, Low Net Event, to be played in foursomes. Each team will be comprised of two men and two women. With the exception of PreVue members, any member of LVC is eligible to play and invite guests. Cocktails and dinner will follow play. The start will be a 1:30 Shotgun.

Ladies' 7 Holers
The Thursday evening 7 Holers Program is a great way to learn about golf or brush up on your skills. Ladies meet at the practice range for a free clinic followed by as many as 7 holes of golf with mentors to practice what we have learned. Upcoming Dates include June 29, July 6, 13 and 27.
This program is open to all women at no cost.

Ladies' Club Championship
Friday & Saturday, July 21 & 22
Stroke Play: Played two consecutive days of stroke play, with a rain date of July 23.
Women's Golf Associate members with an established handicap, except Provisional Members, are eligible to compete in the Championship. All play will be from Red Tee Markers. Pairings will be determined by current handicap indexes, In the event of identical handicap indexes, a review of the previous handicap revisions will be used to determine the pairings. The aggregate total gross score over two rounds, will determine the Champion, Runner-up and third place finisher.
Day One: The defending champion will lead the field if she is playing the event. All other players will be paired by lowest to highest handicap indexes.
Day Two: Two pairings and tee times will be in reverse order from day one. Pairings on day two are based on gross score from day one.
In the event of a tie for Champion or Runner-up, there will be a sudden death play-off beginning on hole #1. There will be a match of cards for all other ties.
A champagne receptions will be held at the conclusion of the Tournament to congratulate the Champion, Runner-up, and all other prizewinners. All Women's Golf Association members are encourages to attend the reception.
